WSCAFE Green Robusta Peaberry Coffee

Robusta peaberry coffee or peaberry robusta is a special coffee bean. To understand the robusta peaberry, we must understand 'robusta' and 'peaberry'. It must be at first robusta coffee variety, that means this type of coffee is blossomed and fruitted from a robusta coffee tree. Second, the 'peaberry' means one-seeded coffee bean. Normally there are two beans or two seeds in a coffee fruit. However, some fruits aren't being divided into two beans, and it forms only one bean in it. That is called 'peaberry' which is as rounded (or curved) as a pea. Vietnamese also call it 'culi' or 'bi' coffee.

In short, robusta peaberry coffee is one-seeded coffee bean which is as rounded as a pea and, of course, it has a round shape. As all nutrition have been focused into only one bean, it is extra-bold, heavy-bodied and very high caffeinated.

As regular robusta coffee.

Robusta peaberry is difinitely being consumed as a regular robuta coffee because it is robusta coffee itself. In any bags of whole-bean coffee, you can easily see some rounded coffee beans and they are peaberries among other regular beans.
